CL Howton Construction was founded in 1997 by Calvin L. Howton Jr. and Calvin L. Howton Sr. The company initially built sports courts and sporting facilities for professional athletes in the Dallas, Texas area. In the early 2000's, the company moved into complete home reconstructions, kitchen/bathroom remodels, flooring, additions, roofing, siding, interior/exterior painting and fencing. In 2003, CL Howton Construction relocated from Dallas, Texas to the Austin area. Since moving, CL Howton Construction has completed hundreds of projects from Georgetown to San Antonio. Since their move to Austin, CL Howton Construction has won "Best of the Best Remodel Contractor" by the Hill Country News viewers for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and recently for 2019. 

CL Howton Construction also provides assistance with insurance claims. All estimates/proposals are completed on an exactomate software package that is the preferred estimation program for most insurers. Our proposals are often used to compare the homeowners pricing and damages to that of your insurer's estimate. This process will assist in getting a homeowner the correct payment for their covered damages. CL Howton Construction will also provide your insurer with an exactomate proposal for free.
